In 1996, Nashville Drug Court Support Foundation (NDCSF) was incorporated as a 501 (3) 3 to help the substance abuse problem in the criminal justice system. Its mission is to serve as a model long-term recovery program and alternative to incarceration for persons with substance abuse and/or mental illness.
MCRRC is part of the recovery court system overseen by the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (TDMHSAS) and is operated by the Nashville Drug Court Support Foundation a Section 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization.
