Since we're talking about Cisco, there are some switches that can do NAT but all of them are really not cheap, even by Cisco standards. Better and definalely cheaper solution is to do it like most of people are doing - get a switch and a router (or some of the Cisco ISR routers that have integrated switch in them).

Cisco specific .. As the title says, why is nat not supported in layer3 switches yet? This capability is available in 20 dollar consumer routers. It is not complicated, it is not cpu taxing. But yet, it continues to be absent in catalyst switches, even in switches that support bgp, hsrp, vlans, rapid-stp, ospf, even vrf-lite.. but no ip nat. why?
