    Dec 20, 2010 · I have the vibrant and assumed that the video recorder in the nexus s would be comparable to the vibrant. Hardware wise that's true however, Google has made the Nexus S so that it doesn't have an HD Video recorder. Is google going to upgrade the video recorder to HD? Please tell me yes or I will be taking the Nexus S back to the store.

    Same here, Nexus Player stuck on 720p. Chromecast, in same port, does 1080p. Tried Android M & 5.1.1, no help. Bought new HDMI cable, still stuck on 720p. Hunted build.prop and other files for setting to force 1080p but found nothing that works. TV's a Changhong LED40YD1100UA

    The Nexus 6P DOES NOT natively support 1080P @ 60FPS I recorded several samples (not in slow motion mode) with the video resolution at 1080P, and then downloaded to my computer. I opened the videos in VLC, and using the media information tool validated that the video at 1080P was in fact being recorded at 30FPS.
