Jun 29, 2012 · When connecting to NFS shared folder the windows credentials needs to be mapped to a equivalent unix account+ group. In Windows Server 2008 R2 the support for User Mapping is dropped and the same functionality can only be achived using Identity Management for Unix Components (extension schema for Active Directory).

Jul 10, 2008 · I followed the instructions and was able to get NFS Server and Client working on my newly built Windows 2008 Server but I am unable to create an NFS Share. It appears the way to do this is to find a folder in Explorer and right mouse click it and choose NFS Sharing... in the context menu. My problem though is that I only get Share...
