Oct 19, 2011 · I don't want to rain on your parade, but this looks like a normal consumer desktop Motherboard with an ordinary onboard NIC which offers no TOE features at all. So your question is pretty much moot. Neither motherboard nor NIC are on the HCL. The motherboard will most likely work with ESXi5, but the mentioned onboard NIC won't:

The reason that NIC exists and has use, is for physical segmentation requirements. But in cases where their are performance desires, a dual port TOE NIC will perform far better. The quad port NICs also had an issues where, if TOE functionality was added, they still had a PCI-X bus interface. The bus would become the constrain point of the NIC.
