    Nov 11, 2011 · Extremely strange, but I had something similar happen to me as well nearly a week before your incident (May 23rd). Luckily I had a 2 disk RAID-1 boot volume, and a 4 disk RAID-5 data volume, but after the system randomly rebooted on Sunday night, it refused to recognize any RAID array except the RAID-1 disks, and even then it didn't realize the 2 disks were from the same array.
