While OpenGL ES 1.1 does not support non-power-of-two textures, newer iOS device models have the extension GL_APPLE_texture_2D_limited_npot, which states: Conventional OpenGL ES 1.X texturing is limited to images with power-of-two (POT) dimensions. no non-power of two render ???! guru3D Forums

    https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/no-non-power-of-two-render.138199/
May 22, 2010 · I think it's trying to say that your RAM, on either your card or system, isn't a power of 2. I'm talking 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, etc. It probably goes by what it says in the system information, which is usually off by 1 or so, making it not a power of 2. Anyways, get the patch like adrichardson and MattTS said and that should fix it.
