Mar 26, 2003 · I am trying to find JDK 1.3.1 I have found topics asking for the same and links to download pages to everything BUT JDK 1.3.1. JDK 1.3.1 - NOT SDK or JRE or J2SE just JDK. Does such a product exist or is it supperceeded ? I'm new to Java and have a program that requires JDK 1.3.1 to run. I thought I had this loaded on my PC.

the JDK used to provide the option to write applets, it's the browsers that provided the support to run them. seeing as, as @T.J.Crowder already mentioned, browsers won't allow the use of applets anymore ... why would you want to write applets? – Stultuske Sep 27 '18 at 9:33
