Oct 26, 2018 · No it didn't help. I have removed the device and reinstalled it a bunch with no luck. It pops up as an unspecified device in Devices and Printers and still has the USB Printing Support driver problem. I just don't know what to do anymore. I don't know why sometimes turning the engraver on and off a bunch until it works, actually works.

Aug 06, 2010 · Both instances of USB Printing Support have yellow !'s. Now my printer doesn't work. After spending time on the phone with Canon (printer manufacturer) tech support, they say their software and drivers are installed and that something's wrong with plug 'n' play or usb hardware on the machine. I'm ready to be done with this problem!!!

I'm trying to use an old parallel-port based printer with a USB-to-parallel port adapter on Windows 7. When I plug it into the USB port on the computer it's listed as an unrecognized device.
