Oct 30, 2016 · You were right my school switched to peap ms-chap v2, it was TTLS-EAP yrs ago when I was undergrad there and try to configure on my Nokia N95. but I guess they switched sometime after that. But I thought back in 8.1 v1 should support TTLS-EAP Wait second are you it is TTLS-PAP not TTLS-EAP? Because eduroam has to be 802.1x EAP

The benefit of EAP-TTLS can be support for less secure authentication mechanisms (PAP, CHAP, MS-CHAP) but why would you need them in modern and properly secure wireless system? What are you opinions? Why should I implement EAP-TTLS instead of PEAP? Let's say that I have most Windows users, medium Linux users and least iOS, OSX users.

I have an external RADIUS server that only supports PAP. I have configured FreeRADIUS 2.2.4 to proxy the PAP request inside an EAP-TTLS tunnel (from a WiFi access point configured for WPA2 Enterprise) to this RADIUS server, and I tested it with eapol_test.

May 04, 2012 · The E63 and E71 do not support EAP-TTLS-PAP and there is no indication that the E72 will support it. The only information from Nokia is that the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic will support EAP-TTLS-PAP, which seems odd as you would expect that E-series phones would be the first to have support for EAP-TTLS-PAP.
