Aug 16, 2011 · My workflow depends on a stable NTFS Driver, so I wonder if NTFS 3G will still work under OSX Lion? If not, is there any other solution for Lion out there yet? Doesn´t have to be blazing fast, only stable. Thanks for your answer.

Aug 14, 2013 · I follow a tutorial from here to enable NTFS write support on OS X 10.8.4 Mountain Lion. However it doesn’t work as expected even after rebooting the system. The NTFS partition always mounted as read-only partition.

Apr 21, 2013 · Mountain Lion 10.8.3 already has native write support for the NTFS. OSX Mountain Lion does have built-in support for NTFS, and it can read and write. However, Apple does not enable it by default. Here is what you should do: Uninstall other 3rd-party NTFS software, like Paragon, Tuxera or NTFS-3G.

Jan 13, 2013 · I have read that there is native NTFS r/w support in Mac OS X, which is not enabled by default. This is the method I have found (I haven't tried yet): Uninstall other NTFS software, like Paragon, Tuxera or NTFS-3G. Run Terminal in Spotlight. Type "diskutil info /Volumes/volname", where volname is the name of the NTFS volume.

Oct 18, 2015 · I’ve been using Microsoft’s NTFS as a common denominator. On Linux, package ntfs-3g supports NTFS, and on OSX the procedure described in this article worked fine until recently. One fine day last week after a system software update, my Air lost the ability to write to NTFS. The old procedure to enable write support for NTFS no longer worked.
