Sep 16, 2007 · The solution suggested in the Microsoft KB for this issue is to obtain the Bcupdate2.exe utility from Microsoft technical support. I ran an analysis program of sorts (reviewed a performance log) using a 3rd party boot manager to see if errors were discovered during the pre-installation scan made by the boot manager program.

Jul 27, 2014 · I don't know what to do.. I was trying to adjust the boot options to boot from a usb drive.. and now i keep getting the message: NTLDR is missing, press control alt delete to restart.. and i restarted like 5 or 6 times.. and nothing changes.. this is my old windows xp version 2002.

Feb 01, 2011 · Hi Guys, i have a toshiba satellite a100 laptop and after a couple of days of not being used i start it up and it loads up the toshiba start screen with bios and startup options as usual, then instead of loading up windows xp (professional) start up screen i have a black screen with "ntldr is missing press ctrl alt del to turn off".

HI , i was face problem with ntldr missing . i tried to repair with window xp cd , but it didnt find hard disk drive on my laptop . . what is the problem ? i tried to boot ntldr file , it seen like reboot the laptop . . · Mind this is an Exchange server forum! But my guess is that your XP does not have the driver required to recognise your harddisk ...

Jun 05, 2012 · I was installing windows xp, but as the installation was going, it stopped and says that the cd is missing some files..I have already formatted the hard drives. when i go back and insert another cd, it say that NTLDR is missing, any cd i have inserted, gives me the same result how can i solve this problem,please help..

I am using XP Home SP2. - When I turn the computer on, I get a black background window with a blue background stripe at the top where "www.dell.com" is displayed.
