, i think there is a solution for most of the apps and some very old game having this error:run-time 445, in windows 8 , or 10 architecture . credit goes to Microsoft, they had include a function in open menu while right click on an app you want to open, there is "troubleshoot compatibility" just run it .

Nov 11, 2014 · I don't see why Application.FileSearch is being used there. Again the code seems to be checking if a file exists, though this time it's warning you if the file doesn't exist. That's what I think it's doing anyway, it kind of seems a bit over-complicated.:eek:
