Mar 10, 2014 · what. there were widescreen support in original Obscure back in the 2004. Obscure 2 hadn't have one, but the 1st game had. It wasn't perfect (the game cut top and bottom areas to fit into screen space), but it was there.

Mar 12, 2014 · EDIT: The fix is to open Regedit and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MRS and delete the Obscure2 folder then the game will launch. So it seems this widescreen fix will not work at all with the Steam version and all we can do is keep messaging the developers until they add the widescreen that was advertised.

Mar 10, 2014 · No 16:9 on Obscure 2 on the other hand, isn't acceptable. If the Wii could run Obscure 2 in widescreen (I have it on Wii) then there is no excuse for the steam version to not support it. Hope this gets fixed. I'd buy it then.
