May 21, 2019 · We have this MSI Office 2016 version – 16.0.4266.1001 and Microsoft Word 2016 MSO (16.0.45.49.1000) 32-bit. It seems it does not support the SVG Graphics. I am trying to find out if there is a never MSI Office version or any update for MS Word, Office that will solve it.

Apr 09, 2019 · Compressing an SVG can make it a lot smaller, our test SVG image is around 90% smaller as an SVGZ. SVGZ images are supported on all major browsers. Making an SVGZ work in Word and Office. Office does NOT support SVGZ images which is a pity, but easily overcome. In short, unpack the SVG from the compressed SVGZ.

I just updated my MS Office 2016 to version 16.0.8067.2115 (which is the latest version if I'm correct).I read here that the latest version supposedly has support for using SVG files.. However, I am unable to insert any svg file into any office program (using Insert > Picture from the ribbon or by dragging a file into an office program).
