Sep 09, 2019 · State support teams are local and regional Ohio educators with a history in school improvement, preschool and special education. The Ohio Department of Education coordinates 16 regional teams that cover Ohio and can respond to your call today. There is no cost to use their services.

The State Support Teams work collaboratively with districts through a continuous improvement process to ensure each child in Ohio has access to high-quality education by focusing on refining adult practices, fostering collaborative relationships and building a districts’ capacity around leadership, professional capital and instructional practices.
The State Support Team 1 website was designed for administrators, educators, service providers, and parents and families of children with disabilities in Region 1, our 13-county service region of northwest Ohio.
On September 18, 2018, the State Board of Education adopted the revised grade-level Ohio's Learning Standards-Extended for students who are assessed using the Alternate Assessment for Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities (AASCD).
