May 26, 2019 · The virtio driver first appeared in OpenBSD 5.3. AUTHORS. The virtio driver was ported to OpenBSD and improved by Stefan Fritsch <[email protected]>. It is based on the NetBSD driver by Minoura Makoto. BUGS. virtio big-endian architectures are not yet supported.

Jun 23, 2012 · Virtio Support :: OpenBSD. I know that FreeBSD offers virtio drivers as per their ports system. What this tells me is that there are likely no virtio drivers for OpenBSD. I have scoured the internet looking for the possibility, but finding nothing.

Aug 06, 2018 · Eventually, I figured out that VirtIO disks are named vtbdX and, as of FreeBSD 11.2-RELEASE, are not shown by camcontrol devlist. So, to anybody out there in the future, who happens to share my habits: If you are installing FreeBSD under KVM, especially if you only have a single virtual disk, the device ID you are looking for is vtbd0.

Oct 25, 2017 · Ich verwende als guests OpenBSD 6.1-stable and 6.1-release syspatched und kommenden OpenBSD 6.2, aktuell in snapshot 134. Der Zusammenhang scheint sich hauptsächlich auf proxmox (pve)/kvm serial console (via noVNC) zu beschränken. Diese zu starten kann die VM zum Hängen bringen, manchmal gibt man username ein, enter, fertig.
