Mar 20, 2018 · I think that the real problem was that the phisical disks (which were in software raid mirroring) were formated using GPT and not MBR. GPT is for disk greater than 2TB. And ESX does not support disk larger than 2TB - 512B. In this case the solution could be use NFS instead of iSCSI, or use disk smaller. Andre

Would you suggest putting cent or some other distro instead of openfiler. on the OS partition to recover the data? I have another device ready to catch the data, I just need to be able to get into the partitions.
