This wrapper enables 3D Vision Stereoscopic rendering in OpenGL applications and games (under Windows) for Geforce consumer graphic cards. This wrapper does NOT translate OpenGL draw calls in DirectX 9 equivalent nor is using the QUAD Buffer techinique present in Quadro cards.

(but then again..Nvidia opened support for OpenGl under Windows starting with the 3xx.xx drivers) so..I don't really understand why this is needed anyway.... So like before, you need to code your application with this library.. to have 3D vision support. Then again you can do it natively using Quad Buffering and have 3D Vision support.

It is not a magical wrapper that allows existing OpenGL games to use 3D Vision. That nice automatic support for 3D Vision that Direct3D games enjoy relies on heuristics baked into NVIDIA's driver. (Indeed, these heuristics are imperfect and many games do not run well with 3D Vision if they were not designed and tested for using it.)

Aug 09, 2011 · I have heard that since about version 171 of the 3D vision drivers, openGL was supported with non quadro cards. I have heard the only way to get openGL support is to buy a quadro card. I have heard that there are 3rd party drivers that support opengl and the 3dvision hardware.
