Jul 24, 2011 · MS office will be supporting odf 1.1 as of SP2, to be released in Q1 next year. While there may be a danger of MS running away with odf i do think this is a good thing. The more programs offer support for one another's standards, the better. More info Sorry if this is old news to some of you.
