    Aug 21, 2006 · The mmc.o driver for OpenWrt only supports 2 GB SD cards because the byte address sent to the mmc/sd card is 32 bits, and the math used to calculate this from the block address uses a SIGNED number. Therefore, mmc.o only supports cards whose size is between -2 GB and +2 GB.

    Sep 29, 2016 · Just wanting to share something here. I used some brand name SD cards with my Seagate Dockstar. The way I did this was to format my SD cards with EXT3 and then filled it by untarring a newly built OpenWRT tarred image. My SD cards usually go bad after 30+ x of reflash with a newly built OpenWRT image. Now, I resort to an old 120GB IDE drive.
