For optical drives, the driver support is provided by the Microsoft operating system. In other words, optical drives are supported natively by Windows. Consequently, you should not need a separate device driver.

Jun 26, 2012 · I have searched the web, high and low, near & far, and can not find a driver for this device. I have gone to the manufacturers site, microsoft site, cnet site, and EVERY OTHER site that was even slightly connected to this DVD/CD Rom. It is an Optiarc DVD RW AD-7173 ATA Device.
