Direct upgrade to Oracle 10g is only supported if your database is running one of the following releases: 8.0.6, 8.1.7, 9.0.1, or 9.2.0. If not, you will have to upgrade the database to one of these releases or use a different upgrade option (like export/ import).

Oct 19, 2013 · Forms 10.1.2.0 is not supported on Windows Vista, Windows 7, and definately not Windows 8. More specifically, it (Forms 10) is not supported on 64bit versions of these operating systems. Oracle has provided instructions for installing Forms 10.1.2.3 onto Windows Vista (32bit) and Windows 7 (32bit), but has not and will not likely provide instructions for Windows 8.

Mar 06, 2013 · 10g is no longer available, nor it is certified to be installed on Win 8 - in fact, no Oracle software is currently certified with Win 8. You will need to find a supported OS to install 11gR2.
