Dec 25, 2013 · I have an issue with a customer running Oracle Database 11g Release 11.1.0.7.0 - 64bit they are getting ORA-01460 when we try to insert some raws in a table. Oracle said they have some fixes in the latest release and mentioned they don't support this version any more.

Apr 16, 2018 · Why an old version of the database, but a new version of the OS? I'd think if you were happy with Oracle 11g, then you'd be just as happy with Win 2008R2. For all the reasons you want to upgrade the OS, they probably apply to your Oracle database as well. Cheers, Brian. yup, We've seen this many, many times.

Jun 16, 2016 · I have been running Oracle 11g on Win 10 without problems so it will run. If you can install it you can patch it so patches will work too. The terminal release for 11g on Windows is a full install anyway. Assuming this is for your own R&D and testing, I would just go ahead and use it.
