    Oct 28, 2013 · We use 10.8 and connect to windows SMB shares all the time. I'd say we have at least 25 clients on 10.8 that do this. So I am pretty sure that SMB support has not been removed from 10.8, so the issue may be in the way you configured the share, or with the MAC itself.
