I have been dealing with chronic pancreatitis since April of this year. I went to the emergency room and was diagnosed with pancreatitis because of elevated Amylase levels. I was hospitalized for 3 days and given pain medication through IV with nothing by mouth except a bit of water. I had a CT scan and lots of blood work done.
