hi! as per Linksys PAP2T nor PAP2 do not support T.38 protocol which is why you cannot see it on their data sheet...Linksys phone adapters that does support T.38 are SPA2102 and SPA3102

hi , the PAP2 does indeed support T38.i guess that you may have to enable the FoIP protocal on the PAP2.....i guess you would be better off if you contact your VOIP provider and do so....linksys agents will not be able to help with the PAP2's phone/voice menu .

PAP2T doesn't support T.38 CoDec for FAX. As such, your FAX transmissions will be a hit/miss. A simple solution to this is to configure your FAX machine to transmit @9.6Kbps or lower and see if this will resolve the issue.

The difference between the PAP2 and the PAP2T is that the PAP2T supports the T.38 fax codec. p.s. I realized it's better to have ATA with at least two ports (WAN/LAN-like a router)e.g SPA3102 or SPA2102, so it can be placed right after the modem and not behind the router (if you use one).
