Dec 01, 2008 · Parallels Desktop 4.0 indeed doesn't support Vista Aero - I checked it out today. For me, the lack of Aero is not a deal breaker, but as I use Parallels to test out software and take screen captures of various operations, being limited to the Basic theme is a bit limiting.

Oct 03, 2009 · I had parallels 1.0 and they dropped support after they upgraded to 1.3 or something and I was left sucking wind. Apple updated their OS and it would no longer run. I then got 2.0 and it looks like the same thing is about to happen. So far VMWare has been better for me. I don't mind upgrades, but not 3 or 4 months after buying it.

I'm a bit mad that vmware charged for an update like this because I couldn't really see much improvements in regards to Lion or Fusion 3.
