Jun 01, 2018 · ARPG games are a million times better with gamepad. Time to face this fact. You definitely lose precision with a gamepad, but you also gain agility. Tons of games don't need high precision, and PoE is definitely one of them. And since this game is getting Xbox support, there is literally no reason to deny pc uses this superior gamepad option.

The issue is not controller support in itself, the issue is skill mechanics support. They actually removed and redesigned skills, they even removed some flask slots. They did that so that the game would play fine on a controller. They can't do that on PC, they would have to cut content and mechanics just to appeal to some players.

Devs can easily add support for we can use a controller. "too many buttons to map" You let us worry about that. Just give us triggers,axis and button support and we can figure out how to use left trigger and right trigger as modifiers or the left right up and down keys as modifiers and give us a slew of extra keys.
