Mar 13, 2017 · I think "vanilla" FreeBSD nVidia support might be a bit ahead of TrueOS/PC-BSD. That being said, I know that for your (mikepwagner) graphics card, the 340xx line is the correct one. I use it whenever in doubt regarding the mainline nVidia driver. As ASX mentioned, running nvidia-xconfig is highly recommended.

Googling around I've found nothing but people asking for them and no reply from nVidia/ATI/AMD. They look just like another company not caring about growing FreeBSD and PC-BSD user base. I'll buy an Intel only based pc instead (open source i810 drivers work just fine) which is what I suggest if you need OpenGL acceleration.

Unless you're running a switchable GPU setup you should be able to install the latest for both that Intel CPU and ION GPU though alternate sources.
