Mar 28, 2014 · So don't ask when quad-core support will be available, since it won't be anytime soon! However, PCSX2 will run fine on your quad-core processor. It just won't benefit from the extra core. Why is my CPU load less than 100%? As said above,PCSX2 only uses 2 cores,so if you have more the CPU usage will be way less 100%.

May 25, 2009 · Full Quad Core support would require a full rework of pcsx2, doesn't matter how much you nag and QQ, the developers arn't gonna do it. End of discussion. NOTE: You can use all 4 cores, using gsdx in software mode.

Nov 24, 2007 · The E6850 will perform noticeable faster in pcsx2 due to the higher clockspeed, considering pcsx2 does not support quad core. It will probably use less power too. From what I have seen crysis' implementation of quad core support has been mediocre so that doesn't give a huge reason to get quad core either.

I am a bit disappointed from the performance I can have with 3d games only 17 fps and my computer has Intel Centrino Duo (Dual Core on laptop) and graphics card is ATI Radeon 2400. I've Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion (if you know the game), which requires a very high performance with beautiful graphics.
