Apr 02, 2014 · Finally Got the TWAIN to show-up! What frustration! By reading all the suggestions here, and fiddling around for about 5 hours, I finally dragged the TWAIN.plugin I had downloaded several times both from that well-hidden "goodies" folder and through the link given by someone here--but that would not be recognized by CS4--into the Photoshop.

Feb 17, 2014 · I have installed PhotoShop CS4 on my Windows 8.1 64-bit laptop. It all runs just great except that I can't use my networked Canon MX890 scanner. I can print to the networked MX890 just fine from PhotoShop and other applications on my 8.1 laptop. And I could scan from the networked MX890 just fine from PhotoShop on my XP laptop.
