Jul 05, 2010 · There is (and never was) a way to completely disable PhysX in the drivers. All you could ever do was disable GPU PhysX, so it runs on the CPU, as it would if you didn't have a PhysX-capable card. Usually, this would result in a drop in performance, not a gain.

Dec 20, 2014 · Physx disabled. I just installed a Geforce 750TI on a mobo Asrock 960G. But it seems that physx is disabled because nvidia drivers detected a secondary integrated graphics card. The prblem is that I cant disable the integrated graphics board on BIOS.

Later (a bit) as GPU's became powerfull enoigh to do both graphics and compute introduced CUDA as the accelartion platform for PhysX. After Windows 10 updates the Nvidia GPU and PhysX were enabled, and Windows 10 stucked on startup, so I disabled Nvidia GPU in safe mode. This problem didn't occure on Windows 8.X and Ubuntu 16.04.
