I don't think it's out of line to contact the support line of a company that I've spent nearly $10k with to get some help with a technical question on purchased hardware and expect to get a reasonable amount of assistance.

Oct 23, 2017 · The PlasmaCam 4x4 table is just under $8k. The Arclight 4x4 table is just under $10k. I like the ability to use the hand held torch with the PlasmaCam instead of buying a separate machine torch. The Arclight comes with automatic height control standard where the PlasmaCam has it as an option (I don't remember the additional price for AHC).

I replied that last summer there was an ad in my local Craig's list where a school district was trying to sell three PlasmaCam machines. No one in the district could get the software to work, and PlasmaCam was charging for tech support.

Sep 04, 2014 · I have a Hypertherm Powermax 45 hooked up to a Plasmacam table. We keep getting intermittent (at best) cuts, and then the torch just blows air. Sometimes we get messages to check the wiriing (the table has lost connection to the torch). All external wiring is tight. Table, torch and computer are all brand new.

Jun 01, 2012 · I had a PlasmaCam at one time with a Hypertherm plasma cutter. Good machine but except for one person, tech support sucked. They treated you as a business or commercial customer when they were clearly selling to part timers or hobbyists. I think it had then a full 90 day warranty for a $10,000 machine.
