Feb 16, 2019 · Answer Plesk transvhosts.pl script does not move /var/www/cgi-bin/ directory because it is used for storing a small /var/www/cgi-bin/cgi_wrapper/cgi_wrapper file that is required for running PHP scripts. As this directory is part of Apache distributive, it is strongly not recommended to move it to another place.

Apr 07, 2008 · on my Plesk server my documents are located in httpdocs and the cgi-bin folder is outside of httpdocs in /cgi-bin. I have successfully moved over several sites to cPanel server using the 'copy an account from another server' function but noticed that the cgi files have been placed in 3 locations.

May 23, 2019 · I have enable/disable CGI & Perl support at the domain hosting settings. File is own by user : psacln and have permissions 755 (same permissions for cgi-bin folder). Don't know what else to try. Appreciate your help ! Thanks !

Hi @Peter Debik, Thank you for the input! I have used CentOS 7 + Plesk Onyx 17.8 Update #44 for testing this behavior on my side, and it seemed to be working fine, however I used only `<?php phpinfo(); ?>` in my index.html, not sure whether or not this is relevant.
