    Apr 11, 2011 · I'm seriously not having a dig at mixxx or portaudio devs, I just think a native jack driver would solve all the problems on the Linux platform, portaudio should work but IMHO and experience it doesn't. I still even have problems with pd, audacity and every other app that uses portaudio running under jack. This has been for the last few years.

    Sep 26, 2008 · Still have a a problem with mixxx seems to die when jack is run with --capture and trying to get my head round the way jack ports are handled in mixxx but it is working great for standalone mixing. Seems to use about 20% cpu and I am able to add effects in om, capture to disk and send an icecast stream from om output at the same time, amazing.
