Nov 27, 2008 · I had a Powerbook G4 with 867 MHz PowerPC donated to my classroom with 10.3.9 on it. I upgraded the RAM, put in a 1 GB of RAM. I have the copy of Leopard that I bought and read that it should load on to this Powerbook.

When Apple brought out OS X 10.5 “Leopard”, it annoyed a lot of Mac users with its high hardware requirements, cutting out a lot of Mac users with older machines. I recently picked up a 15″ Titanium PowerBook G4/867 MHz; it meets the minimum specification for running 10.5. This got me wondering about Snow Leopard once again.

Jan 19, 2011 · Hey I crashed my 17'' powerbook g4 (please don't ask long story) and i want to know if i have leopard.iso on a dual layer disk if it will boot and run. I'm pretty sure its a PPC and I believe the processor clocks 1.6mhz. can anyone help?

Nov 02, 2007 · Leopard on PB G4 15" 1.67 It took just over and hour to Archive & Install Leopard on it. Everything works just fine. I was surprised that even with all the new features (spaces, cover view, 3D dock, etc...), the PB G4 runs as fast, if not slightly faster, as it did when it was on Tiger.

Dec 17, 2010 · I have a Powerbook G4 and i was wondering if i can upgrade to leopard. It currently has tiger 10.4.11. Im not sure if leopard requires intel because i have a powerpc.
