Jan 21, 2010 · Hello there...I´m repairing (reinstalling) Pro-Tools LE 7.0 on an HP Pavillion zv5000 laptop. While trying to open my previous sessions from an external E: Drive (not yet specifically formated for audio) it shows "Pro tools does not support unmapped network volumes". I´m unable to open any previous session.

Pro Tools categorises drives into three groups: Transfer (T): Pro Tools will label a drive a Transfer Drive if it isn't suitable to play back Sessions. Examples include shared network drives, CD‑ROMS, and drives that are formatted in a non‑native format. Transfer drives cannot be used to either play or record Pro Tools Sessions directly.

Mar 13, 2013 · I have a user here who never turns of his machine, and Im not allowed to remotely shut it down as hes the head guy. The end result is his machine stays on 24/7, every now and then Ill get a phone call from him asking why the network has gone down. I walk down stairs see that his mapped drives have all had a hissy fit and restart his machine.

Pro Tools 12 does not support video capture (PTSW-181456) Pro Tools 12 does not have the ability to record video to th e timeline. Co-install Pro Tools 10.3.10 (or higher) on the same syst em and use an Avid Mojo SDI to record video into Pro Tools 10. The captured video can then be used in Pro Tools 12.

Mar 13, 2011 · Hi All, My Avid suites are connected to a domain. the server map a network drive to each user that log on. the network drive is actually a folder on the server and it appers on each user PC as a standard network drive (like Unity/EditShare/any generic NAS/SAN)
