I think that maildir support is the only really necessary thing in Thunderbird. With maildir support Thunderbird will not have to use gigabytes of RAM while trying to work with my 3-gigabyte file in mbox format. It will not crash this file. And you are spend over ten years to implement this feature! Great work, guys! Keep it going!
