Jul 15, 2013 · Can't detect controller Project 64 - v2.x - Issues. I haven't installed any separate controller input programs, since all the tutorials I found said to just plug in the controller, download the MS program, and change the button mapping in Project 64.

Feb 09, 2016 · I'm using the Project 64 v1.5, i know there are newer versions, so i tested the v2.2, the controller plugins are diferent, so if you are using the v1.5 you should get the file Default.jsf if you are using the v2.2 you should get the Default.cpf file. If you already own one of my Nintendo 64 Controller Companion profile read "Things YOU Need to Know" and "I'm already your fan" sections.

Dec 28, 2006 · I think you miss the definition of "controller" in this case: The real N64 knows its input devices only as controllers, but on an emulator, a controller can be a a keyboard, a gamepad, a joystick or even a mouse in some cases. Make sure that Player 1 controller is marked as 'Plugged in' in Options --> Configure controller Plugin.
