Mar 28, 2014 · No, currently up to 3 cores are supported (2 cores and an additional one if the new MTVU speed hack is used). To make PCSX2 efficiently use 4 or more cores will require major code changes. So don't ask when quad-core support will be available, since it won't be anytime soon! However, PCSX2 will run fine on your quad-core processor.

Jun 06, 2010 · Dual-core doesn't really help much for PCSX2 emulators, my own tended to run full throttle and not give much in terms of performance. ... but quad-core support is something i've wanted to see in pcsx2 for along time, so don't think the users are the only ones that want this ... Last I checked even a PS2 emulator never could push my cpu to 100% ...

Jun 29, 2007 · PCSX2 development team has not developed Quad Core Support YET which means even if you play PCSX2 with a Dual Core it'll be unstabilized and only two core will be in use, which means the two other cores and not being used.
