The Mac Mini seems to works flawlessly under both bands, 2.4 or 5 - excellent signal. However, the PS3 fails its connexion test and states that signal is not perceptible on the 5Ghz. Sep 06, 2009 · Does the PS3 Slim support 5ghz wireless? I'm looking to buy a dual band router and know that the fat PS3 only supports 2.4ghz wireless internet. Two things: 1. PS4 does not support 5GHz. If you must, use an ethernet cable. You can also buy a 5GHz Access Point that will connect to your 5GHz Router, and connect the PS4 to the Access Point using an ethernet cable.
