Nov 12, 2015 · The Q6600 is indeed starting to be a bit dated. It might still work though. Have you tried to enable the virtual intel VT-X settings? (With your guest OS shut down go to settings and change like the settings below) Normally that should be enough to at least be able to start Hyper-V.
