Nov 19, 2014 · The thing I would most likely do in your case is to install a linux virtual machine, install qemu in there and then use the shared folder option in the VM to convert the qemu files into vmdk. Best is to use a stable release of a well known linux that was released for a while, so that your shared folders work without having to troubleshoot ...

Apr 10, 2013 · The latest ovf standard does point out that many hypervisor support ovf, however without mentioning qemu/kvm. And I can not find any related topic in qemu website. So could any one answer me whether qemu/kvm support ovf or not? If it support, hot to boot a ovf package use qemu/kvm? Thanks in advance for your helpful insights.
