Normally when I use Tencent QQ the login will success if I use HTTP proxy server. However, QQ of Pidgin says NO. The debug window told me that HTTP proxy is not supported (See info below). one issue,the new Pidgin doesn't support QQ very well,all the dialog displayed "Null".somebody said it's the problem of GTK, because the older version(2.3.1) and the older GTK with new pidgin are fine.
