Do you have any information about GTK WebAssembly support in the near future? QT has announced this week the WebAssembly support, and provided a few impressive online demo. I would like to stick with GTK, I feel it more intuitive for me, but from a technology perspective, WebAssembly support is something to consider.

When I run my Qt application on Linux Mint Cinnamon 18 it doesn't use my GTK theme colours or system font. Qt Creator has the same issue, but other Qt applications I've tried (XnView MP and qBittorrent) do correctly use my GTK theme. It therefore appears there is a way to get it to work, but I'm at a loss as to how.

As you can see the OS GTK theme isn't being applied. The GTK theme also doesn't get applied to Qt Creator, though it does get applied to Qt applications that I download from the Mint repository. I hoped building Qt on Mint would solve the problem, but even when using that Qt build applications still don't get the GTK theme applied.
