Qt doesn't support RTF. Qt's rich text editing framework supports exporting a text document as plain text, PDF or ODF document. Support for .rtf format in QTextDocument or QTextEdit?

    https://www.qtcentre.org/threads/34142-Support-for-rtf-format-in-QTextDocument-or-QTextEdit
Sep 14, 2010 · I have a case where newly entered text in a database column is in HTML format - and QTextDocument and QTextEdit work great. However, older (legacy) entries are in .rtf format (the first characters of the string are "{\rtf1"). Does anyone know how to support rtf in Qt widgets? I always get the equivalent of plain text. Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Though this is called RichText I doubt, that it will satisfy the OP, as he asks to output the Microsoft Rich Text Format which has another markup. Still +1 for your answer as it should help the OP, to write a translator from RTF to HTML. You might append to your answer, that there is no RTF-Support implemented in QML. – derM Feb 7 '17 at 12:38
