radvd does not support splitting up RAs to multiple packets (RFC4861 6.2.3 last paragraph). In practise this limits advertising to ~45 prefixes on a link, but there is no reason to be able to so.

It seems that pppd invokes scripts, but dies before they actually start, so OS kills everything (fork/exec calls does not complete). 3. radvd a) sometimes it does not send "prefix deferred" message Same situation as pppd - if radvd is configured with DeprecatePrefix directive, it should send RA out. But, sometimes, this does not happen.

Router Advertisement Daemon (radvd) The router advertisement daemon is very useful on a LAN, if clients should be auto-configured. The daemon itself should run on the Linux default IPv6 gateway router (it's not required that this is also the default IPv4 gateway, so pay attention who on your LAN is sending router advertisements).

Dec 04, 2016 · I'm now with build BS 30880 big, IPv6 works on WAN, but ipv6-test.com from clients reports it as "not supported". I've set "Setup->IPv6" with "DHCPv6 with Prefix Delegation", "Prefix length" of 64. I've also enabled DHCPv6s with default settings and radvd with default settings. Below some useful information for you guys to help me:

The specification for DNSSL is very new, so some hosts may not use this data However, if the data is not broadcast, it can’t be used. radvd release 1.7 (Jan 12, 2011) is the first release to support DNSSL announcements.

May 17, 2013 · Hi, I am having trouble trying to configure VPN client to use HE's IPv6 and would like to seek assistance from you. [UPDATED: The following setup is working if Client C is a Mac machine, but this would not work if it is a mobile device such as iPhone/iPad/Android phone as there is no way to add a static route, any help on using RA to deliver the ipv6 addr to clients would be highly appreciated]

If you're using radvd and it's not working somehow, then your router will have a working IPv6 connection, but it won't be passed on to your other computers. If your computers aren't receiving IPv6 addresses, then this is the problem. The best tool for checking this is the radvdump program.
