    Dec 22, 2015 · For anyone having the same issue, it is resolved in rubygems 2.3.0 which enables you to still use older versions of ruby. The fix is here: rubygems/rubygems@0936ca6. If you are using OpsWorks, in your Rails Layer, set RubyGems version to 2.3.0. 👍
