I just need a simple (if possible) method to compile the application from the cmd prompt, preferably from a .bat script file. I googled it, but everything I found was about compiling the wxWidgets library, which I already did, or compiling applications with Visual Studio or other IDEs like Code::Blocks.

If you compile wxWidgets on Linux for the first time and don't like to read install instructions just do (in the base dir): ... --enable-unicode Enable Unicode support. --enable-profile Add profiling info to the object files.
